About Us

The Beauty Lounge, based in Broadstone, Poole, has grown from humble beginnings, in a back room of hairdressers, to the chic salon we see today. Sophie Gillett, who established the business, began her professional career as a national award winning makeup artist. Transforming people into a vast array of ghosts, ghouls, crash victims, and aging them 50 years using nothing but wax, makeup and the occasional spot of fake blood.

Its all a far cry from today, The Beauty Lounge is a thriving business, in the heart of Broadstone, offering a range of beauty treatments, in a quiet and tranquil setting.
